Privacy Policy

PngGrove is a free library of transparent-background PNG images. This policy explains what data the site collects, why it is collected, and what choices you have. Questions about this policy can go to hello@pnggrove.com.

What we collect

Downloads are counted anonymously. The site records how many times each image is downloaded, not who downloaded it. Search terms are stored so the site can show trending searches, and search logs do not publish IP addresses. If you send a message through the contact form or file a DMCA notice, the site stores what you entered, including your name, email address, and message or notice details, so the message can be read and answered. Contact form submissions also store the sender IP address for abuse prevention. Server logs created when pages are requested may include IP addresses and browser details for security and error diagnosis, and logs are kept for a limited period.

Cookies and advertising

PngGrove uses a small number of cookies. One remembers whether you dismissed the cookie banner, and admin login uses a session cookie. These are needed for the site to work. When advertising is shown on PngGrove, Google acts as a third-party vendor and uses cookies to serve ads. Google's DoubleClick cookie lets Google and its partners serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com/ and through the Digital Advertising Alliance at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/ and through the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance at https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/. You can read how Google uses data on partner sites at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and in Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. If you refuse cookies, the cookie banner will keep appearing, because the site cannot remember your choice.

Consent for personalised advertising: no personalised ads are currently served in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. Before any personalised ads are served there, PngGrove will use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF), and consent will be given or withdrawn through that platform.

How we use data

Data is used to run the site: to serve pages and downloads, to count downloads, to show trending searches, to answer messages, to review DMCA notices, and to prevent abuse.

Sharing

PngGrove does not sell personal information. Data is shared only where needed to run the site, with the hosting provider that stores the site, and with Google for advertising when ads are shown. DMCA notices are handled as described on the DMCA page.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to its processing, or ask for a copy of it. You can also withdraw consent for cookies by changing your browser settings or clearing stored data. To make a request, email hello@pnggrove.com. Requests are answered within one month, as required by law. The legal bases for processing are our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site, the need to answer messages you send, and your consent for cookies where consent is required. If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you can also complain to the data protection supervisory authority in your country.

California privacy (CCPA)

PngGrove does not sell personal information. If advertising cookies are in use, you can opt out through the links in the cookies section above. California residents can ask what personal information we hold and ask for it to be deleted by emailing hello@pnggrove.com. You can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information through the links in the cookies section above or by emailing hello@pnggrove.com. If you send a Global Privacy Control signal, PngGrove treats it as an opt-out request. When advertising is shown, restricted data processing applies to personal information processed for advertising.

Children (COPPA)

PngGrove is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email hello@pnggrove.com and we will delete it. In the European Economic Area, the site is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

This policy may change when the site changes. The updated date at the bottom of the page shows the latest version.
